not the wrath of God, the bliss of God. yes you live and live again until you do get it right because God forgives, he gives you many chances to attain moksha and be with Him. God does become flesh in hinduism to some extent. sri Vishnu's incarnations are 'God' in Hinduism and through stories and stories of these, we find 'God's perfection' and thourgh the myraid number of 'gods' in hinduism's polytheism we discover the many characteristics and faces of God. Thus God is much easier to worship when you can concentrate on an Ideal.
got it?
The concept of reincarnation teaches that it takes many lifetimes to reach perfection and even if you are one step away from perfection and then screw up you have to start at the bottom and work your way up again. This is the wrath of your god punishing you for your transgressions.
What you believe in is cafeteria religion. All religions are a smorgasbord of ideals so you pick what you want to out of each one. True Christianity is a personal and intimate relationship with God; not an attempt to attain the god head.
There are two commandments that sum up Christianity:
Matt 22:36-40
36 "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?" 37 And He said to him, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' 38 "This is the great and foremost commandment. 39 "The second is like it, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' 40 "On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets." NAS
John 14:15
15 "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. NAS
John 16:33
33 "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world."
NAS
Revelation 21:7-8
7 "He who overcomes shall inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. 8 "But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." NAS
