Whoever wrote that article oughtta be ashamed of Himself, the Lord is known as Faithful and True and Always holds true to His promises, i wish i could answer this person face to face, i will show scripture that will prove the pre-trib rapture.
Verse pertaining to the rapture:
Revelation 3:10 - Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
The word imminency is used as to refer to the doctrine that Jesus Christ could come at any moment to take His Bride to His Heavenly Kingdom or the Fathers House. That is as to why there are so many scriptures within the Bible which tells us to be ready! , and that we should look for His appearing at any given moment!
Anyone not looking for His imminent coming is rather looking for the coming of not Jesus Christ but the AntiChrist! How dreadful. It is also written that the promise of being delivered from the wrath that is to come!
It is written:And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. 1 Thessalonians 1:10
Now why would Jesus have His faithful followers go through the time of testing? That is why there is a tribulation period or the time of Jacobs trouble to test the faithful and to separate the sheep from the goats and to bring some through the fire to be purified.
Furthermore The Holy Spirit spoke for Paul concerning the verse above! Many prophecies foretold by the apostle was regarding future events or end time events which would occur in the latter days!
In every chapter written by Paul, He mentions the second coming therefore making it an important subject within his letters!
For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
1 Thessalonians 1:9,10
The Glorious appearing and the rapture are two separate events that must take place,
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 2 Thessalonians 2:3
It is written:Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-6
So within these passages Paul emphasizes the the man of perdition or Antichrist must appear first before the tribulation period occurs! Verse 8
The Wrath to come is followed after the rapture as stated above! When the Antichrist establishes His rule as god of the earth!.
We are not appointed to wrath! But salvation is obtained through Jesus Christ our Lord.
It is written:For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. 1 Thessalonians 5:9,10
This a verses promising the rapture:
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
1 Thessalonians 4:14-18
Some might say that this does not necessarily have to do with pre-trib rapture.
It is also written:Revelation 3:10 - Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
From literally means"Gr. ek} or out from the time of testing further proving that it is a pre-trib rapture.
Only the utmost faithful will agree with the Pre-Tribulation rapture, think about it!
Then there is the Mid-Trib view of the rapture which has its own problems, and i will show you as to why.
If The Church is to be raptured during the middle of the tribulation, they might very well be raptured with the 2 Witnesses mentioned in Revelation 11:11,12And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
The problem here is that the 2 Witnesses are Jews who must minister unto the Jews that remain in Jerusalem during that horrendous time!. And they are not part of the the Church as of that moment in time.
And then we have the post-Tribulation view:
This is speaking of Christ returning at the end of the Tribulation, meaning the the Church even those who are faithful will go through it, making Christs promises in Revelation 3:10 void.
Furthermore if this holds to be true then the Believers will be raptured in the twinkling of an eye at the end of the Tribulation and then immediately returning to earth, which leaves no room or time for marriage supper of the Lamb and of His Bride the Church and the best man John the Baptist.
