If you're going to quote the translation of the Quran, then please do so in a honest fashion. This is how the the verse reads: "Do you (faithful believers) covert that they will believer in your religion inspite of the fact that a party of them (Jewish Rabbis) used to hear the Word of Allah (the Torah) then they used to change it knowingly after they understood it?" This verse is speaking of the Jewish Rabbis in the time of Moses who when the Torah came to them, would change it to suite them.
The ending of this verse which you conveniently highlighted, is referring to those Jews who have no knowledge of what their own book says. By this I mean, what their book says on the description of the prophet Mohammad. Where's my proof on this? It is stated in a authentic hadith, Narrated by 'Ata bin Yasir: I met 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al'As and asked him, " Tell me about the description of Allah's messenger which is mentioned in the Torah"….(Sahih Bukhari). |
