Christian/Muslim ThreadsThe Bible and the QuranGuess I would have to start it again. The verse I mentioned does refer to Angel Gabriel. But the Quran does speak of God's Spirit. "But He fashioned him in due proportion and breathed into him something of His spirit. And He gave you (the faculties of) hearing and sight and feeling (and understanding): little thanks do ye give!" (32:9) But this certainly does not mean that there is God (nauzubillah). What does the term "Son of man" frequently used in the Bible for Jesus(pbuh) mean? If I don't understand the Bible correctly, you could help me understand it right. Why don't you take Jesus(pbuh)'s word for it? He says that he was not good but it is Allah who is Good and He Alone is God. Believer, I would like you to answer the verses of the Bible which I quoted which clearly say that Jesus(pbuh) is not God. Those verses were actually the very reason I started this new discussion. Take care |
