Christian/Muslim ThreadsWhy wont Muhammed come back at Judgement?I don't assume what Gabriel said, I base that on the Qur'an. Also, the proof that it was in fact Gabriel is that this is who he identified himself as being, he brought a revelation from God, and there aren't any indications that it wasn't in fact Gabriel. It's like asking "well what if the burning bush was something else?". There needs to be evidence for any position. Alright, but you have to realize that 20 is your opinion and recommendation. I'm not saying it's a bad recommendation, I'm saying that God Himself didn't say 20 is the minimum age requirement and anything less is invalid. I disagree with that. Of course if all a person has been doing with their life is watching MTV, then yes their brain won't be ready. But imagine someone who since birth has been raised by religious people and taught religion very seriously. You don't think they will be spiritually aware? I agree. The Islamic education system was incredible. I mean if you have kids who've memorized the Qur'an by age 6, and spend the next 8 years reading classical works and religious texts, of course they're going to be mentally ready to rule an empire. Not like today's youth who are proud if they can read by 14. I'm not. From my perspective it would be improper to put yourself in that situation altogether. If you aren't married to a woman, you shouldn't be living together. It's like being a roommate with someone you could marry but didn't. The situation is an invitation for the devil. Peace bro |
