why we need to do certain things to be in heaven..
Yes.. in Islam, there are five pillars of Islam..
1. The testimony of Faith.. saying.. :There is no deity but God and Muhammed is his messenger”. once you accept this you are Muslim you don’t need to do any ritual to become muslim unlike some other religion. all you need to do is believe in that and saying that..you can do it even at home alone.. because this is between you and Allah but also you can do it publicly in front of imam in mosque.
2. Daily praying 5 times a day: we pray 5 times a day as Muslims and Jesus were praying 3 times a day (i read it from Christian’s web site, and this is what Christian say) and Mosah was praying 3 times a day with bowing. and Adam was praying once a day. Now as you see in reality all religions sent by Allah has regular daily praying. Now why we do pray daily..
First of all remembering Allah gives us peace and satisfaction. who benefits from it "WE"
Second of all you exercise therefore you stay in health it makes you exercise. there is brochure from a medicine called Prodisan Capsul in Swiss with pictures on it. they say if you do exercise like in the pictures side by medicine you will be healthy. and the pictures they show is just like how we pray in Islam. and those people are not Muslims. So we exercise again who benefits from it "WE"
3. Giving Zekat (support of needy): we Muslim if we are wealthy enough we should give 2,5 % of our annual income to people in need. For example if you earn $100.000, $2.500 of it belongs to people who in need. So again who benefits from it.. "WE" as human being.
4. Fasting: again another way to stay in health this is proven by science also.. and addition, in Ramadan.. we pray all together and call each other to dinner, almost each day of Ramadan either we go somewhere for dinner or we invite people so it makes people close to each other and visit each other. Who benefits from it "WE".
5. Pilgrimage to Makkah. : Again. If you are wealthy enough once in a life time you should pilgrimage to Makkah.. Why Makkah.. Makkah is the place that Adam and Eve find each other and settle there and pray to Allah Makkah is the place and Abraham built. or rebuilt (I am not sure rebuilt or not) Makkah is the palace that is holy for every prophet and even religion like even to pagan… So Makkah was a holy place in Adam time Abraham time and others.. Always was holy place. Why we need a holy place. Everything created by Allah right. why.. Because we all Muslims. Pray in one language (in Arabic) even nonarabic people (like me) and turn our faces to one direction to one God. It makes us a whole one community like a one. You know you are from a different culture language etc.. but when it comes to Allah you feel you are one.. in one direction. And going there and seeing that people all around the world, black, white, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, European, Arabic etc. altogether in one palace, you see it you live it.. it must be such wonderful feeling that seeing there is no discrimination when it comes to Islam and everyone is in the same level in front of God rich or poor educated or uneducated etc.. you are side by side with them all together.. Again who benefits from it “WE”
When it comes to forbidden:
Eating pork: is not healthy for us at all.. it is forbidden to Christian, Jew and Muslims.. In technology we can make it sterilize so we can eat.. But science still proves new things.. How do we know that there is still something harmful for us but we don’t know it yet.. and another thing is Adam and Eve ate the apple which is not poisoned it was just there to test them ..Who benefits from it “WE”
Wearing Gold..: Wearing gold is forbidden to men in Islam.. Why? Science proves that.. wearing Gold reduce the amount of sperm therefore men who wear gold may not have a chace to have a baby. Well let me say what you think Satan told Muhammed saw that Gold is forbidden to men so men can get benefit from not wearing Gold.. wow satan helps people..(according to you)
Whatever we do in Islam is for our own good in this life and eternal..
