Apologies in advance if this topic has already been discussed. I am new to this!
A question I have is why the Lord Jesus Christ is not seen as the greatest prophet for Muslims, whereas Christians believe he is Almighty God?
Our Lord had a miraculous birth, used miracles to heal, he raised the dead, calmed the sea, fed the crowds. He prophesied his death, the destruction of Jerusalem, the death of one of the apostles (Peter, I think) and that Christianity would be preached around the world. All of which have come true. For Christians he claimed to be God and proved it by rising from the dead.
According to Islam, Jesus did not die and is coming back again. I understood noble Muhammed to be the last and, therefore, the greatest prophet, though we can see his grave today.
If Christ never died and is due to return, surely he is still the last (and would become the greatest) prophet?
