Science, Creation & EvolutionNoah catching his animals...Well, I can understand your skepticism. That article was written by a creationist, and I guess you could say that creationists do have a one-sided agenda (of course, that's only because we believe that only one side is the truth). However, the article at this link (http://www.answersingenesis.org/Docs/4232cen_s1997.asp#r1) quotes directly from a book written by a leading scientist at Montana State University, hardly a stronghold of Christianity. Could this be proof that dinosaurs lived not that long ago? How is this an abuse of the 2nd law? Doesn't it state, more or less, that in a closed system, things naturally go into disorder? I'm not a scientist, so perhaps you could explain to me exactly how creationist abuse this law. You guessed it! You see, I believe in the absolute authority of the Bible. So unless you can show me from there that dinosaurs we dead millions of years before the flood, then I'm afraid I won't believe it because the Bible says otherwise. Of course, as newseed said they could have become extinct after creation and before the flood, in which case they would not have been on the ark. But that's not what I'm talking about. I want to see it from the Bible that there are millions of years, and that the dinosaurs became extinct before man was around. And while you're at it, please explain Job 40:15-17:
Me too, my friend! (sorry if I've come off as otherwise - that's not my intent!) |
