When someone doesn't know something, they shouldn't claim they do and state what they think as fact. This is pure misguidance. If you don't even speak Arabic, why pretend that you can translate Arabic? This is fraud. And what's the devil's sin, the one which leads people to not admit that they don't know? It's like if someone purports to be a Bible scholar and doesn't know anything about what he's talking about and ends up misrepresenting the Bible.
