Christian/Muslim ThreadsQuestions about IslamI appreciate that you at least give your OWN opinion and not trying to bombard this site with endless duplicated copy and paste info. I should point out that what you have said somewhat contradicts your belief with the teachings of the Qur'an. There are over 35 verses in the Qur'an that states (in one way or another...directly and indirectly) that the Torah and the Injil (Gospels) are authentic. Your Qur'an also states that men will corrupt the teachings of the Bible but NEVER once did the Qur'an teach that the Bible had any textual corruption. And since the Gospels (and the Torah too) were written during the 1st century A.D., then you have to agree with the Qur'an that the Gospel is true because as you know, the Qur'an was revealed around 600 years later. I have to say, there is no way to prove that the Bible was corrupted according to the Qur'an. Let me empahise again...there is no way to prove that the Bible was corrupted according to the Qur'an. You can prove that men corrupted it's teachings or understanding. You can prove that a church is not in line with the teachings of the Bible or that man does not truly follow the teachings of the Gospel but you cannot and will not prove that any textual corruption occurred ACCORDING to the Qur'an. And since your Allah said that he is the protector of his word, then the Torah and Injil are protected also. If Allah did not protect the Torah and Injil then just how certain can you be that the Qur'an is protected? Again, to prove the Bible was/is textually corrupted, you must prove it by using the Qur'an and NOT the Bible. Thanks for you time. In His Name, Eddie |
