Hey bro, looking forward to a response, take as long as you need, hopefully it will be something more complete than "everything you said is the straw man fallacy, I need to go now". There's some very important points to address in my last post, I'll summarize them:
1) Show how the attributes of God never change when he goes into the "hypostatic union".
2) Resolve: The only reason you believe that Christ was the word of God in order to worship Christ, is through the Bible you have today, which is NOT the word of God. IF Christians had a divine text upon which they base all their ideologies, namely the one where Jesus is "the word of God," THEN the closest comparison would be that of the Qur'an for Muslims. However, that belief about divinity is based on non-divinity, a human text. The most crucial belief about God can't even be linked back to God or His Messenger. It's all about "how do you know what you know?" If you can't link it to God, you're basing your belief OF God, AND Jesus as the "word of God" who should therefore be worshipped, on the questionable words of men.
Unless of course, you want to adhere to the Qur'anic meaning of "the Word" which is that the Messenger spoke from the Injil which was revealed directly to him.
As a good friend himself said
Biblical scripture is NOT eternal, but created since the speech that God used to convey His Will was the human speech of the divinely inspired human authors.
The belief that the Qur'an is the "word of God" is based on the "word of God" traceable back to the very Messenger who transmitted it. The belief that Jesus is the "word of God" is based on Scripture which is NOT eternal, created speech, of human authors, not linked back in an unbroken chain to Jesus himself, for hundreds of years.
"The Messiah is greater?" You believe that the Messiah of God is greater than God? Nice.
Peace bro
