First of all, I didn't quote the Bible in this thread, second, it is interesting to see how easily you can be mislead even in this simple discussion thread by following your muslim friend's wrong assertion.
Do you even know what "conjecture" means? There is nothing conjectural about Christ dying on the Cross, no Christian conjectures about what happened that day on that hill on that cross. But fake documents fabricated 600 years later 800+ miles away CONJECTURE because they have no idea what happened in history and they try to re-write history to gain more followers.
Bushmaster, I apologize, you are correct you didn’t quote the bible. I went back at looked at all your postings.
I “guess” it means to speculate about something. Well, since I haven’t read the Qur’an I can’t quote any sura to prove that he wasn’t crucified.

To answer your question;
Why did Jesus have to die for our sins?
Basically, the reason Jesus had to die for our sins was so that we could be forgiven and go to be with the Lord. Jesus is God in flesh (John 1:1,14; Col. 2:9) and only God can satisfy the Law requirements of a perfect life and perfect sacrifice that cleanses us of our sins.
All people have sinned against God. But, God is infinitely holy and righteous. He must punish the sinner, the Law breaker. If He didn't, then His law is not law for there is no law that is a law without a punishment. The punishment for breaking the Law is death, separation from God. Therefore, we sinners need a way to escape the righteous judgment of God. Since we are stained by sin and cannot keep the Law of God, then the only one who could do what we cannot is God Himself. That is why Jesus is God in flesh. He is both divine and human. He was made under the Law (Gal. 4:5-6) and He fulfilled it perfectly. Therefore, His sacrifice to God the Father on our behalf is of infinite value and is sufficient to cleanse all people from their sins and undo the offense to God.
The following outline is an attempt to break this down, step by step, using scripture and logic. I hope that it helps you understand why God is our savior and not some created thing. Also, I hope that it helps you understand that you must trust in Christ alone for the forgiveness of your sins; that you can do nothing on your own to merit salvation from God.
That kills me, "Jesus is god in the flesh". Hahahaha...
My argument is (no Islamic conjectures, I mean guesses [since I don't know what cojecture means
]) since god (Allah) is "infinitely holy and righteous" he can simply forgive us for our sins' if he chooses. No matter how many prophets die, I'll still be judged for my sins by God.
refer to my earlier example:
It's like saying, you commit a crime and somebody else who truely loves you (for example your mom/dad), go to jail for it and you are let off the hook. Does that make sense? Of course not, so why would it work this way in religion?
Sorry the example you gave don't make sense because the way you described it still HAPPENS today.
Yes this may happen today, because human (judges and juries) may not have all the facts and are prone to mistakes (since we are "only" human). But, as you mentioned earlier since god is "infinitely holy and righteous", he will judge and punish me (and all of US) accordingly.
