Christianity comes from Judaism and the prophecies of the Old Testament. Christianity was prophecied in Genesis when God said He will send the seed of the woman to bruise the head of the serpant(Christ defeating Satan on the cross).
Well, the same thing goes with Islam too. A discussion of originality can make more sense between Islam and Judaism, but not with Christianity. Or in other way, whatever you say about Islam may be used by Judaism for Christianity. (despite the fact that Judaism had become an ethnic religion.) I wonder what do jews think about Jesus pbuh. What bad spirit affected him, according to jews ?!
Anyways, Islam is Islam, Christianity is Christianity, and Judaism is Judaism. No need to make a chronological hierarchy. They have different theologies, although they have God in common.
