Hmm isn’t that applicable for Christians? Practicing religion not knowing true God? From history were there any pharisee’s who accepted Christianity? Most possibly YES.
Paul was a Pharisee who converted. His biggest problem before being born again also was Religion. Religion can be the biggest problem for Christians, Muslims, Hindu's, etc etc in finding God.
As an example look (Matthew 22.16.) “Master we know thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth.” These words were said by Pharisee. (However you can give contrargument)
Were there any true believers, Followers of Jesus(pbuh) who changed their faith? I doubt.
So you see analogy.
The Pharisee's was mocking Jesus when they said “
Master we know thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth.”

. Hmm you are very right and do you think the guy who feel so much pressure will change his faith ?
It's no different then the religious leaders, of different religions, in the world who preach a concept of a religion but they never still know God.
Wait is that prejudice or fact? Can you say that biologist does not know Biology if He rejects theory of evolution? You see what I mean. Anyway they know about religion even if just mere facts and history they knew religion better than majority. I would never visit this site if I did not want to increase my knowledge in comparative religion and better know my Rabbi. Similarly you wouldn’t participate in this board if you did not want to please Jesus (pbuh) So why you think that this priest did everything unintentionally.
You could study religion your entire life and never enter the Kingdom of Heaven!

Isn't that against salvation doctrine that every single Christian will go to Heaven?
True Christians will go to Heaven but as Jesus said,
37. He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
38. The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
What is the tares are the children of the wicked one stands for? Are they also Christians or what?
No. Some might believe they are but they are not.
What the children of the wicked one stands for is something that would need to be started in a new topic.
