If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, marry women of your choice, two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one,
IT DOESN'T SAY DON'T MARRY 4 WOMEN NOR DOES IT SAY MARRY ONLY ONE WOMAN. Sorry your attempt failed!
BTW : Jacob the father of Israel married a count of " FOUR WOMEN" ..two of them were biological sisters ..
And God instructed him to do so? Gave him an advice as "marry women of your choice, two or three or four; " NADA!
2) In talmudic times, girls were treated as marriageable from the beginning of their 13th year ..and since the virgin Mary was just that a virgin : that means she was under 13 when she gave birth to your g^d ..must've been awful on her !
That doesn't mean crap. You have proof that she was 13? NADA! She was at least NOT SIX!
3)Did the Bible outlaw marrying more than one wife?
Apparently not:
*Deuteronomy 21:15 "If a man have TWO WIVES, one beloved and one hated, and they have born him children.."
* Exodus 21:10 "If he takes him ANOTHER WIFE ; her food ,her raiment and her duty of marriage shall not diminish"
Read the Marriage sermon of Jesus in NT (Matthew) about it. No picking and choosing!
4)Did Jesus over-ride Deuteronomy 21:15 or Exodus 21:10?
ABSOLUTELY NOT:
Matthew 5:17 " Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets : I am not come to destroy but to fulfil "
OUT OF CONTEXT, He fulfilled the LAW (10 commandements) none of us could. One more cheap shot ...
5)Oh by the way : cut the crap will ya ?
Go ahead, you ladies first...
