Personally I would like to live in a Christian theocracy ruled by religious Christians. I would like for Christianity to be the state religion, and a society that condemns abortion and gay marriages and secular humanism.
But politics corrupts religion, as we can see in Islamic theocracies, and Christianity is not compatable with politics. Christian theocracies failed in the past because people are too wicked, not everyone can live by Christ's teachings.
We're stuck with what we have, a representative democracy that is the safest and best place to live in our world. We the people have control of this country, not some secret organizations. The problem is that we're getting to lax. Secular humanism is eroding many American's morals. There's no reason for abortion to be legal when the majority of AMericans don't support it. Unfortunately many people are too lazy to vote.
While in many places in the world people are dying of starvation and work hard and are eager to get involved with their government's policies, we here in AMerica are dying and getting sick because we're too fat and lazy and we're not all eager to influence our government.
That irony is the problem in our country, not secret organizations.
I have not seen any attempt to inhibit Christianity in our country by any conservatives, like Bush, but liberals and the far left presents a great threat to Christianity. The far left is not a secret organization, it's real and it threatens Christainity.
