In terms of differences between Christian denominations, I would venture that spirtual proof is mainly concerned with the existence of God. Once this is established, how religion proceeds is more dependent on the person themselves. I would think it rare for people to proclaim a particular dogma or method of worship on a deep spiritual revelation. I certainly hope this is the case! Cos as you say, if it isn't there's a major problem!
Also, a lot of denominational differences are down to human choice and judgement. Take Henry VIII, it seems to me he established the Anglican church predominantly for his own, worldy reasons.
In terms of your other, more important question, i doubt i'll be able to answer it to your satisfaction, and mine either come to that. I find it hard to comment on the "experiences" of other religions because i've never witnessed or experienced them myself. I'd hazard that the ways in which the experiences are brought about differ, but once again i'm far from an authority. Once again, we come to what we as people make of the experiences and do following them. I think the Christian reaction is likely to be different, fueled by our belief in a loving God who sacrificed himself for our sakes.
I know this is far from conclusive, but i'm here to talk and think about these things as well! Hopefully someone else will come up with a more concise explanation.
Cheers for your questions, I'm gonna go off and think a bit more about it, so check back laters
