For a youngster who has never lived in the gay community I find it interesting that you are attempting to change the perceptions of a man who lived that lifestyle for over 30 years. I know what motivates gay men much better than you do, and I know the tactics used by gay activists since I was one long before it was PC to be an activist. You can assume I am making assumptions all you want, this will not change my mind or what I know to be true.
You are making assumptions based on what you have heard from gay activists who like to deny the truth. You brought society and family into this discussion so why try to deny it by pointing to the subject of the thread? If you don't want to address rebuttals to your remarks then think before you post.
The sexual revolution is different only in that society did not fight it as openly as they are gay unions, which btw is the only aspect of gay rights the majority of Americans disagree with. Since I lived through that period of our history I don't think you can educate me on what society thought or even did. I saw it, lived it, and to an extent encouraged it so we in the gay community would be left alone.
