Vote on a pollAge of the EarthI am a Christian too and I believe every part of the Bible, but I don't think the age the earth is in the Bible. I believe He created Adam & Eve to be middle aged not new born babies. So I think it is safe to assume that He created the earth likewise. Also I believe that there was a great deal of time that Adam & Eve spent in the garden of Eden. Remember, when God had finished creating, He saw that it was good. He could not have said that if satan was roaming the earth. So from the time man & woman were created til the time they fell, you have the great war in heaven plus time for Adam to name every living creature. I am not saying the earth is millions of years old, neither am I saying that it is 6 or 7 thousand years old. The truth is the Bible really doesn't say, so I think it really doesn't matter. What really matters is when the earth ends. |
