Scorpion,
You did notice that I said "evolutionary theory and the evidence for it," right? Not "the creationist interpretation of evolutionary theory and their evidence against it?"
Assuming a "yes"... what have you read?
Me, I attended a fundamentalist Christian high school, where I learned creationism in Biology class. I didn't really question it at the time... and even after I realized I was an atheist, I didn't really think about it. I assumed evolutionary theory was right after all, although probably not very well-developed.
Then I stumbled onto a book by Dawkins -- Climbing Mount Improbable, I believe -- and found out not only that evolutionary theory is cool (in an utterly geeky "I read non-fiction for fun" way, I admit), but that the writers of my creationist textbook had lied to me. They had shown me a straw-man version of evolutionary theory, the better to tear it down. I was furious.
Since then I've taken an anthropology class on human origins, read assorted other popular-science type books, large chunks of TalkOrigins, and some really fascinating stuff on genetic algorithms, back when I was majoring in Computer Science.
If you want evidence for evolution, you shouldn't be asking me, you should be checking your local library and/or bookstore. I would recommend Climbing Mount Improbable, but frankly, Dawkins has a bit of an attitude about religion. You'd probably be better off with something like Finding Darwin's God, by Kenneth Miller. On the other hand, if you're looking for the instantaneous gratification of the web, you could check out this site.
And ask yourself this: Which is more impressive? God coming up with stars and planets and bunch of biological designs and *poofing* them into existence... where they then proceed to "degrade"? Or God setting a whole universe in motion, with, dare I say, a Bang... such that these things bring themselves into existence, just because of the way the basic physical laws were set up, back at the beginning?
*shrug* Maybe it's just me.
