4. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them:
I am curious Mary is dead and she is in heaven. So then by making a statue/picture of her you are maken a graven image of a likeness of something that is in heaven and using it in worship, so you are breaking the commandment.
You worship Mary! It is that simple.

Paul would have a cow over this, rip his clothes and shave his head again! 8)

Every single crown of honor that Paul, Mary, Peter, and every other Saint for the past 2 thousands years receives will be laid down at the feet of the ONLY ONE who deserves honor, respect and worship ~ Jesus Christ!
