ArchivedPicturesHave you actually taken the time to read Mike's posts? He has done an admireable job debunking your theories. The snake as a type of Christ is blasphemous and ludicrous. Mike's understanding of the destruction of Satan makes more sense. The Hebrews were required to lift their eyes off their situation and obey God, just as we are called to do today. The difference between public statues that honor people, family pictures, etc. and images in Catholic churches is we don't offer prayers to these objects, burn candles to them, etc. Praying maybe the ultimate form of worship as you must acknowledge that what you cannot see will hear and act upon your prayer. In Catholic churches Christ is still on the cross, which is far from an accurate portrayal of a risen Savior. Here again your "traditions" void and violate Biblical truth, the same attitude Jesus accussed the scribes and Pharisees of doing. |
