ArchivedJesus... Sultan of mercyMatthew 11:20 says - "...because they repented not:" The answer to that question. Not because didn't care for his preaching, because they repented not. When you come to God who is Holy, you come to him on HIS terms, and because you cannot get rid of your sins or saveyourself, you need to ask for Jesus's blood to cleanse you, this is also why the Sacrifice was necessary. John 3:17-19 - "17 For God sent NOT his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is NOT condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And THIS IS the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil" Next... 2 John 10 says - "If there come any unto you, and bring NOT THIS DOCTIRNE, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:" Jesus's doctrine is that of the Gospel, and therefore the scripture also says in Galations 1:8 "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach ANY OTHER GOSPEL unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be ACCURSED" This is incase of false prophets, and heretics who will TWIST the Gospel for their own end, like yourself here There are many many twisters of the Gospel like JW's and Mormons going around houses trying to show the way to God which is false. By inviting and accepting these Peoples so called "gospel" WE would partake in THEIR SINS of their lying gospel. And therefore we are instructed by God not to bid them God-speed in their matter. The scripture does not say non-christians specifically, speaks about any person speaking of ANY OTHER gospel, other than the one being preached. The scripture says "God-speed" ... you wouldn't say God Bless you to a person who spreads lies now would you? Would you want their lies to prosper? I think not. The scripture does not say anything about not greeting them, it says not to bless them in their work and false doctrine. Next ... Yet again, you've taken the scripture out of Context ... You've misread the scriptures ... If you read the scriptures in context as from ... Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread. tradition Mark 7:5, Gal 1:14 3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? 4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. Exod 20:12, Exod 21:17, Lev 20:9, Dt 5:16, 27:16, Prov 30:17 5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; But Mark 7:11 6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. If you read those scriptures ... you will see ... The Pharisee's were TWISTING the scriptures to their own advantage, and teaching the Public/Followers when it comes to looking after their parents, In their old age, or in times of trouble, in their own house, they were given this "cop-ot clause" how to dodge out of it, and thus ... you will see Jesus said they made NO honor to their Father or Mother and made it just a tradition out of scriptures, twisting it. Therefore, that Law was for them Because they are twisting the Holy Word of God. Correction: It wasn't Jesus that killed them, it was evil King Herod, the ruler at that time. For which he will one day, pay account for on the day of Judgment. That is the same context as saying "That when the plains killed the thousands in twin towers by Bin Laden, being a muslim, so we could say Allah killed those Thousands" ... That does not make sense. Next... Those words Describe the people graphically for what they ARE, it is NOT like curse-words, or profanity as people use them and know it today. You dont have to speak sweet lies when people are wrong, you need to be bold and tell them. The Bible says "he who hates correction is foolish" Next ... Hosea 13:16 says "Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath REBELLED against her God" This is what is called ... JUDGMENT. In the Old Testament, you kept the law of God ... and you are blessed, you broke the law of God, and their was judgment. Whether immediate, or in future, in a nutshell. BUT ... Those who still had Faith, in the Old Testament, that God IS merciful, they ask God for his mercy for the wrong they had done. And God showed them Mercy. John 1:17 - "For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ" The New Covenant ... Is ... A Covenant of Grace and Mercy because JESUS has Paid the price for ALL our Sins, So what is sin then? Scripture says "The transgession of the law is sin" ... and also in another place, "he that knows to do good, and does not do it to HIM, it IS SIN" You must read the Contrast of the OLD Covenant and the NEW Covenant. The word OLD and NEW ... Does it ring a bell? Its there for a purpose. There was something OLD, and NOW there is something NEW. And YOU my friend need to find out what the Old said and what the NEW says. Dont quote scriptures out of context like a heretic. Matthre 9:13 - "But go ye and learn what that MEANETH, I will have MERCY, and NOT sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance" Next ... Exodus 17:8 - "Then came Amalek, and FOUGHT with ISRAEL in Rephidim" The Law in the Old Testament said "Thou shalt not kill" ... Exodus 21:24 - "Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot" Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: An eye Exod 21:24, Lev 24:20, Deut 19:21 Matthew 5:38-39 - "Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also." Now ... Remember what i said about the Difference between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant, the Old Covenant was a Covenant of LAW and Judgment and the Wrath of God AGAINST Sin and ungodliness, and the NEW Covenant is a Covenant of Mercy, Grace and Love, and Goodwill to All men who will beleive the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and a Time to think and repent, of their Sins for those who dont beleive the Gospel as yet. Or ... The day of Judgment whichever comes first. Next ... Genesis 13:13 - "But the men of Sodom were WICKED and SINNERS before the LORD EXCEEDINGLY" Read the whole Story of Sodom and Gomorrah, this was JUDGMENT for breaking the very laws of the 10 Commandments. Remember what i have told you about the New Testament and Old Testament, it will help you understand things better my friend. Next ... See here: http://www.becomingcloser.org/David/1_chronicles_21.htm Next ... You clearly dont know the scriptures, read what happened here if you have the time. Dont take the scriptures out of context my friend, remember what said about the Old Testament, if you broke the Law ... Judgment. People had the choice to choose between life and death. Deu 30:19 - "...I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live" Next ... Again, read the story properly, dont take it out of context and twist it. Can you tell me the scripture that states they were forcibly raped? Thanks. Im going to stop now ... I can answer each and every single answer of yours and debunk it right here, im getting tired typing. Forgive me. The Old Testament is not always easy to read and Interpret, it takes some patience and knowledge my friend, please dont take the scriptures out of Context, i hope i have proved my point. There is a book you should buy if you like ... Book Called: Hard Sayings of the Old Testament Author: Walter C Kaiser Jr. Great book for sure, i have a copy of it. It explains what went on in the Old Testament. Its nothing like you claim it to be my friend. Also ... Whenever you take the "turn the other cheek to him also" scripture out of Context ... heres something that comes to mind ... Matthew 10:16 "Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore WISE as serpents, and harmless as doves" Jesus has given us wisdom, not to keep in a Museum, but to use it. He has made us wise, we should differenciate between things in life, this is what wisdom is for, for making wise choices, not to be duped in life and stuff. Dont take the scriptures out of Context, your treading on very dangerous grounds .... In fact just like the Bible has scriptures for just about Everything ... It has one specially for people like you Alexei ... Revelation 22 verses 18 and 19 Says - For I testify unto EVERY man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book When your taking Gods word out of Context, your taking away it's real meaning, and adding your own thoughts and interpretations to it. Which i couldn't advise, unless you would like God to take your part out of the Lambs Book of Life. God's Word is Him, You mess with the Word, you mess with God. I hope i've made my point clear. I hope you liked my post and read it word for word. Kind Regards, Scorpion. |
