ArchivedThou Shalt Not JudgeIn the Holy Spirit I write this to all of you. Our Lord Jesus commanded us to follow God's Divine 10 commandments as well as additionally, "Love they neighbor AS thyself" (gotta love yourself equally with all others, not more or less), and "Love God above ALL else". When asked by the man on the road to Demascus "Lord, what must I do to get to heaven?" Jesus answered the man in the most direct and clear manner than ever before to anyone other than his disciples. Jesus told the man he must follow the 10 commandments as well as the other 2 mentioned above. He told the man he must also leave his riches and come follow him. The man in sorrow turned and walked away. The man loved his riches more than God. Other than those 12 things, nothing else was required to get to heaven. Through the teaching of Jesus we were blessed with truth and clarification of the false teachings of the past (which remain in the Old Testament texts so that we can see our mistakes). I pray that Love and Truth come to you all through the Holy Spirit. I was saved and baptised when I was 9 years old, but it wasn't until I was the age of 25 that the Holy Spirit came to me. If you let love and truth be your guide not other people that have been mislead themselves from misinterpretations and misunderstandings about the bible(not to exclude quite a few preachers and elders of churches), I know that you will be shown the truth of God. The only way you will be shown his truth is to seek it with love in your heart and with the simple prayer asking God to show you the truth in all things. It won't happen overnight, but God will reveal to you his truth and love like never before. Please think twice about judging other people. Don't try to tell them what is right and wrong, Jesus already did that for them. Instead always show people love, kindness, compassion, empathy, forgiveness, charity, and humility in the fact that you were born out of the same sinful nature as they. For all but one have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD. |
