Muslim..Out ReachUsing Culture and issues to bring people to ChristAlright, I can see your point on this issue. The Hosea example was a nice one to support your case. And she did not answer it, but got right back to the culture of the situation. I understand that you want to discuss the culture, and then point to the fact that there was a transgression against God. But Muslims are ignoring the transgression against God part and justifying the actions of Muhammed. Now, my thing is, you are right when you say there is a reason in the Bible why God allows certain people to perform certain acts which we might say are immoral. But how are you going to show that Muhammed's act was immoral by BOTH man's standards AND God's, when they say all the prophets are sinless? Paul does rebuke them. Verse 22-23: Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. Paul is basically saying that the gospel is true and they are worshipping false gods. He is rebuking them even in the passages you mentioned. |
