Javaro, it is good to take heed to what Scorpz and Omega said. Also, take a look at some of the other promises of God:
He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough. (Proverbs 28:19)
In other words, if you work hard and diligently at what you do, it is guaranteed by God that you will eventually succeed. But if you follow people who do not say meaningful things, they will eventually lead you into poverty.
Here is another promise of God:
He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat. (Proverbs 28:25)
In other words, it is not always good to trust what you think. We humans sometimes cannot even make up our mind on issues. If we trust in God, He will lead us to the right path. Some people rush into things and get into trouble, but God says "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD."- Psalms 27:14
Also, "The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season."- Psalms 145:15
There are MANY more promises that God makes and there are many strategies on how to live life, especially in the book of Proverbs. All men have these things in their heart and they are fundamental teachings, but we have all rebelled at some point in our lives despite the fact we know right from wrong.
Finally, the best promise of them all is eternal life through His Son Jesus Christ (John 3:16, John 6:47, Romans 6:23, etc). Once you see all the other promises God keeps, you'll have no problem believing this one.
