ArchivedBullied gay students awarded $1.1 million :: MorganMorgan LOL Unfortunately, we all have to put up with that at least once. You should try fighting with Yahell. Excuse me. I mean "Yahoo." Yeah. That's what I mean. Thank you. I'm not bitter about it, if that's what you're thinking. There's a difference between being bitter, and not being able to forget what certain people did to you. And unfortunately, my experiences with being bullied are the resons why I have such a hard time trusting people, because I never know when they're going to turn around and do something to me. Yeah! I'll say. My experiences weren't as bad as the ones other kids have had, and I certainly wasn't the only one at my school who had to deal with it. Unfortunately, even the other kids who were bullied had great fun pushing me around. But let me tell you, it felt good to finally stand up for myself. Ironically, the same guy who'd bullied me in middle school and the first three years of high school treated me well my Senior year. I don't know. Maybe it was because I was an upper-class woman, and that respect was given to the other members of my class? (Shrug) Or maybe his girlfriend finally knocked some sense into him. LOL I don't think it's reasonable. Once again: bullied kids are bullied kids. I don't care why they're being bullied. Only that they're being bullied. Bullying in general should be dealt with. Kids should feel safe when they spend eight hours on school grounds. They should be able to concentrate on their studies and not worry about avoiding the jocks who give them swirlies. Sorry for being hard on you, but I'm glad that you finally understand what Marty, Bob, and yours truly have been saying. |
