Although I agree this poll is worthless, I disagree that any group of people (gay, straight, Christian or non-Christian) should have the ability to limit any subscribers access to information.
Who elected AOL as the censor of what is appropriate for every AOL subscriber? I have spoken with ex-AOL subscribers who changed ISP's because their children could access gay friendly material while at the same time they could not access Christian material on the Internet when parental controls were in effect. I am not a big fan of MSN or AOL but MSN allows subscribers to designate what emails can be routed to automatic deletion instead of censoring every email that hits their server.
AOL is not deciding what is appropriate. It has received the necessary volume of complaints to keep the url from being transmitted. If you want to blame someone blame AOL users.
