ArchivedWas Jesus a real personLOL, my friend. The Holy Bible says ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. I thought you have read the Bible as you said? You should know these things. And when I say someone follows after worldly lusts, I am saying that they have done it before in their life, not necessarily STILL doing it. Like I said, if one can prove the Bible to be the word of God and divinely inspired, then this can prove the existence of Jesus Christ. LOL, now you want to get technical? What is the difference between saying "most likely" and "I think it is safe to say?" If something is most likely true, is it not safe to say? (Not to mention I said "I think"). "The man who said that quote sounds more like he does not believe Jesus Christ existed than He existed" is another way to say it. I know. That is why I cancelled out all moral teachings from each of those religions and mentioned testing the promises of the Holy Bible. Buddha does not make any promises and does not divinely attempt to predict the future, but God does. The Qu'ran supports the idea that God Almighty edits revelations, however God clearly says in Isaiah 43:13--Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it(or, turn it back)? Cheap imitations come after the real thing--God does not edit. I looked in my websters dictionary, and it defines faith as believing something without evidence. However, the fact that we are talking about faith in the Bible, let us use the biblical definition of faith. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1) Clearly it is a different definition than the one I see in the dictionary. For the Holy Bible uses the word evidence. How does one prove the evidence of things not seen? Obviously by experimentation. Inventions are not known until there is experimentation. Therefore, God is not known until His word is tested. |
