Luke 1:35- And the angel answered and said unto her(Mary), The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
The Highest = The Father
The Son of God = Jesus
The Holy Ghost = The Holy Spirit
Some still might not get it, and say things like: "If this 'trinity' is true, then where was it in the Old Testament?"
Well, let's take a look at Romans 16:25-27- Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.
Also, 1 Corinthians 2:7-9- But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
Then you might say, "That's Paul's teaching. God never said it would be a mystery." Are you sure about that? This is why no one could figure out what the Messiah's mission was: Isaiah 64:4- For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
As we see, only God fully understood the "mystery" of the prophesies of the Messiah. And some of you Muslims might say, "Well those prophesies in Isaiah are not about Jesus. The one who shall be bruised for our transgressions is not Jesus and it does not say He but it is plural, which means it is not Jesus and when it says the Virgin shall conceive it was already fulfilled, go ask the Jewish scholars......." Yadda, Yadda, Yadda. All you Muslims do is fulfill scripture each time you word of with the mouth: Romans 16:17-18- Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
Also Colossians 2:2b-4- ........to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.
Won't accept Paul's saying? Let's see what Peter has to say (May I remind you, this is one of Jesus' FIRST desciples. I'm sure he knows Jesus more than Muhammed): 2 Peter 2:1-3- But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
The botton line: You Muslims can twist Biblical scripture around all you want, for it is written that people shall spread false doctrine and use enticing words. All these things being said hundreds of years before Muhammed was born. God's TRUE Word has spoken. In His name, Amen.
