leviticus
There is something that has been nagging me for awhile. I have heard many a christian say that Jesus' dying in Roman cucifixion (need spell check) removed the need to follow many of the old testament commandments, such as not eating pig or wearing two types of fabric. Now I wonder, why did this only extend to parts of the old testament but not to others, such as the one law against homosexual relations in leviticus. Furthermore, who decided which had to be followed and which didn't, was it man or God. In the new testament was there a PATROIT ACT that amended the commandments or was this all just cooked up for conveniance sake?
I am ignorant on this matter and need this explained to me.
