ArchivedMary, Jesus and Muhammed in the QuranThis one is really funny Light, my dear friend: Why don't you first excel in Arabic language, rhetoric, grammar, phrase construction, rules, vocabulary... before posting us your own idiotic interpretation??? First let me clarify that all the prophets and messengers of God Almighty from Adam to Muhammad are SINLESS. In The Noble Qur'an we are told: Verily in the messenger of Allah ye have a good example for him who looketh unto Allah and the Last Day, and remembereth Allah much. [The Noble Qur'an 33:21]. In Arabic Language, there is an idiom called: إياك أعني واسمعي يا جارة Literal translation for this idiom: "The words went to you but I meant you neighbor" which means that if I want to make a notice to a group of people, I would take their good example and I'll address my words to whom, eventhough this good example is personaly free and doesn't need any notices or remarks. This is the rhetorical beauty of the Arabic Language. So in verses 40:55 and 47:19, the words go to the good example Muhammad, however who is really meant here are the Muslim followers whom God Almighty ask them to always repent and ask forgivness from Him. This is a simple Arabic language' rhetoric. In verses 47:19, the context of "eternal forgivness" came in the meaning of content, affection, and mercy. Well before someone attack the Noble Qur'an, make sure that he fully understand all the rules of Arabic language. Alexei |
