ArchivedCan anyone clear up the confusion? The problem believer is that I do listen to you and you don't convince me because all you can argue with is biblical scripture that I dont accept as pristine (And neither do alot of other non-muslim scholars). Your main problem is that you don't listen to me. You are hell-bent on trying to prove me wrong. Can i say it any simpler than this: Any religion that professes that the Creator of the Universe descended from the throne and walked around on earth and was a man disqualifies itself from a religion to be seriously considered for following. Until you can prove to me that God has children without using religious doctrine then I would believe you, I would have to to be true to the Truth. However, you cannot do so and you further disqualify yourself as someone to be listened to on the grounds of reason. You are nothing more than an adherent of a Cult of Judaism, you might as well be trying to get me to beleive in the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus and any various number of other superstitious fairly tales that Christians also choose to celebrate. But I do understand, to a certain extent, what God wants from me, and I feel the intense Love and devotion that Christianity lacked not only when i am worshipping God, but in Islam, muslims can be in a constant state of worship. So i dont claim to know God's will, but God created me, and God gave me a mind, you know that thing that you don't use, and I found that God existed without the unnecessaryness of ur "faith." Like Allah, SWT, says in the Quran i say to: "you claim that God has a son, bring your proof." And what is even sadder is that you think or at least have made up in ur own mind, is that God did not reveal himself to ants or any other of the creatures. How do you know this? Again, speaking about things of which you have no knowledge. This is arrogant. Sadly, none of these quotes from the Old Testament prove that Jesus is who you claim he is. And the Apostles, or whoever wrote the Gospels, knew what the Old Testament said. They could have made the words sound the way they wanted them to to correlate with "Prophecies." I am not denigrating the Bible, only suggesting that this is not proof. Notice, i have not once used the Quran to claim the Prophethood of Muhammad, pbuh. Yet you cannot divorce yourself from the Bible to prove the divinity of a man. Weakkkkkk! #1...I dont accept any of the writings of Paul, he was not a Prophet, of scripture. Maybe he loved Jesus a whole bunch, but that doesnt mean I should follow anything he said. #2...read vs. 9 again...What all of you have been telling me is that Jesus is actually God. Is this right? am i missing something? So either Paul doesnt understand this relationship or you don't. Did i say i didnt believe the miracles?? I fully believe them, but they can't be a PROOF of authenticity because neither you nor i saw them. It all comes back to the message, something that since you didnt quote in your rebuttal, you must not be able to rebut. |
