ArchivedWhy the Bible is better than the Quran.Peace Lady Fatima, Be made by whom? God? Nay! try the Babylonians. His wife will be made a harlot by the cruel invaders, NOT BY GOD! Do not say what God can or cannot or shouldn't do! The Quran "hides" things, but God doesn't fear hiding things from us. God is was straitforward about what Israel has done against Him, perhaps it was to serve as a warning for future people reading these scriptures. People in our perverted society could be disuaded from doing evil things when the read about God directly addressing them. God wasn't going to control the prophet's lives and force them to only do what He wanted them to do. They were still men, and they still sinned. The prophet Jonahs, for instance, tried to run away from God! God punished Him, however. Moses became arrogant and and upset after contending with the Israelites and in Numbers 20 he disobeys God and strikes the rock instead of speaking to it. God punished him by never letting him step foot into the promised land. David has lust for Bathseheba abd has her husband sent out to the front lines in the army, and he eventually he was killed. Quite bad, but God punished David by having Bathsheba's son, Absalom, rebel against him and try to kill him. God illustrates that no one, even David, is exempt from His punishment. It shows that we suffer becuase of our sins. This is a very imporrtant moral lesson. The Bible is an amazing book! Does the Quran have the great Biblical stories in it? The complete Exodus? Elijiah and the Prophets of Baal? Samson and Delilah? David and Goliath? Jonah and the Whale? Shadrech, Meshiak, and Abendigo and the fire? The Visions of Daniel? etc......etc.......etc.......? Does the Quran contain beautiful prose that can compare with the Pslams of David? Does the Quran contain books of Godly Wisdon like Proverbs, Sirach, or Wisdom? Does the Quran contain entire historical records of the kings and prophets? Does the Quran have any direct writings of the ancient prophets, like the Bible: Moses, Jeremiah, Ezekial, Isaiah,Hosea, Amos, Daniel, Jonahs, Job, Zechariah.....etc? No! Your book is an empty scrap book when compared to the Bible! |
