My point exactely. You need to choose here. Either he dies or was put to sleep. If he was put to sleep, then the two verses that I quoted bring up a problem. If he died, and will resurrect only on the last day, then who exactely appeared to the apostles and the other people that the bible talks about? In either case, you have to admit that there is a problem.
Furthermore, the Qu'ran is not even accurate as to Jesus is (sura 19:28), his mother is referred to as the sister of aaron, even Ann, sister of Mary is referred to as the wife of Amram (Sura 3:35). Given, that, how can you try to explain something that obviously has the meaning that we all know that it has. The only reason why you are modifying it, or trying to assign different meanings to it , other than that of the obvious. All I am saying is: Isn't this too much to have to explain for it to be accurate and true?
