ArchivedCan one know God only from a logical sense?I agree since it shakes faith. Heck man, sometimes when I read the Quran in English and find mistranslated words I immediately go over the Arabic version to make sure it's translated incorrectly. I believe God has given me a brain to distinguish between right and wrong. If something is not tranlsated correctly then it's not translated correctly, and if this mistranslation about Isiaih proves that Jesus is not God but God's hero then I do not have a reason to believe that Isiaih was saying Jesus is God (specifically speaking of the verses above) I believe that everyone is responsible for his own faith. You are obligated to search for the truth, that's why when you find errors and don't search for them then you will be judged and asked for it, and that is why I always educate myself more and more so that whenevr I face God I can say I have tried my best to find you.As for poor people, i can not judge here, only God does. Islam is about submission to God on a daily basis, WE pray five times a day non stop glorifying the one and true God. We stay up late praying and reading the Quran and praising God non stop. We ask God to help us in every step we take and in everything we do. We knee to God and Bow non stop. When I used to be a christian we used to go to church every sunday and when I used to ask the priests about the meanings of this a typical answer was :" Don't bother yourself, you only need to believe in Jesus as our savoir". I never got a clear answer for anytyhing. I read the OT and compared it with the NT and found major differences. I read the NT and only listened to what Jesus said and it clearly showed me that Jesus never claimed to be a God. If you find errors and contradictions in your book then you are obligated to look into them. Use what God has given you (your brain) use it and compare. Don't be a christian just because you were born a christian.(no offense intended here ) Salam. |
