ArchivedProve Islam with the BibleAgreed, but I still wonder why you celebrate it on the 25th just like in those pagen religions. Heh, that prophecy is not about Jesus. 1) the word "virgin" is translated incorrectly , the proper meaning is “girl” or “maid” 2) No where in the bible Jesus is called Imman'u-el. And it does not mean Jesus or messiah 3) Prophecy is actually fulfilled in ISAIAH 8:3 ISAIAH 8 " 3: And I went to the prophetess, and she conceived and bore a son. Then the LORD said to me, "Call his name Ma'her-shal'al-hash-baz; 4: for before the child knows how to cry `My father' or `My mother,' the wealth of Damascus and the spoil of Sama'ria will be carried away before the king of Assyria." The sign is fulfilled and the son is found and Assyria did not take Judah down If you go and tell a Jewish scholar that this is about Jesus, he will just laugh. those Psalms are what David used to sing to God and most of them were writtin by David. He is not talking about Jesus here. Maybe you need to ask a Jewish scholar why David sang this one. Heh, I don't have time to show it's all not even about Jesus. I only had time for this one. Funny, I wonder how could those Greece people or Persian people come to Judah and live there and study their faith and borrow from it. Jews were outnumbered all the time, and Persia and Greece are just too far away from Judah to borrow from. What would make sense is for Christianity to borrow from it. Besides, that's not my only argument in this thread. Check my other posts out. Later |
