Revelation and Prophecy :: EschatologyThe Quran testifies that Jesus was the MessiahIf I am to love my enemies as a Christian, why then am I not to love the prophets who were before me? I appreciate what they have done, but Jesus is they key, not Moses and not the other prophets. During the transfiguration, Jesus bought Peter, James, and John with Him. Then when His three desciples saw Jesus with Moses and Elijah, Peter said "Let us build three tabernacles for you, Moses, and Elijah." (Matthew 17:4). Then as Peter was speaking, the Father interrupted Peter and said, "This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased, hear him." (Matthew 17:5). Peter wanted to pay tribute to ALL THREE, but that was not to be. God wanted them to acknowledge Jesus as the One, not Moses, not Elijah, and not any of the other prophets. We can sit here all day and discuss the contradictions in the Qu'ran and Bible, but the question that is always avoided is, Can someone please explain why Jesus did not die for our sins, when in fact, this was God's promise in Isaiah 53? How can one who believes in God, say Jesus did not die for our sins, when it was always God's will that Jesus would? |
