Earth to Morgan, calling Morgan Yo Morgan.......LOL
According to the Bible, it was. Sure, nowadays the door has been opened, restrictions loosened,
but you know, it does not change the sanctity of marriage which some squares like me hold. Hey, I admit some straight people marry just for the sex, nothing more. Take a look at Hollywood couples, especially the younger set.
When God made Adam and Eve, it was not just a physical union, it was also a spiritual union.
Genesis 1:27, 2:18, 21-25.

I know I mentioned I have 2 cats, one which I inherited from my brother, the other, is very close to me. I love Pooki like a real good buddy. And if I wanted to marry her I'd be breaking 2 Biblical laws, homosexuality (she is female) and bestiality. Not to mention other Biblical laws. frankly, I don't want to marry her and she doesn't want it, either. Pooki is happy with food, water, a warm bed, and a clean litter box.
I believe in kindness to animals, am against abusing them, but I completely avoid groups like PETA which I consider flaky.
But I get your example, Aineo.
What, may I ask, is a Loving?
Oligarchy?
Recently I spoke with someone who is very liberal, she favors an aristocracy (read: classic conservative government) over a democracy. Go figure.
As for interracial marriage, I couldn't care less about that. I wouldn't even care if a white American male wanted to marry a green Venusian female, I really would not care.
