ArchivedRascism and hypocracy in ChristianityWho told you this? Actually, I don't. Where do you get your sources on MY life from? When I hang around unbelievers, it's so I can be a witness. I'm not suppose to get involved in their sinful acts, but I can talk to them you know. What are you talking about? Every week when I go to Church, there is brotherhood. When I go to the Christian fellowship in my college, there is brotherhood. When I come to this site and greet my fellow Christians, there is brotherhood. Brotherhood has nothing to do with hanging around unbelievers, but it deals with hanging around believers.
I never said those things don't exist. The point I'm trying to make is, you say you have a problem with Christian doctrine. But Christian doctrine is against the negativity going on in Christianity. Why then would you leave Christianity for the things other Christians, who are going against doctrine, do? And, you said: "In all fairness, I've experienced the same thing in Islam as well." Then why not leave Islam for the same reason? If I'm not mistaken, doesn't rascism go against "love thy neighbor"? Yes homosexuality is wrong, but homosexuality is a sin that you are not forced into if you are not gay. Rascism however is a sin that resulted in the death of MANY people, who died against their own will and were forced to be killed. (I'm not only talking about white people being rascist, but also blacks). So OBVIOUSLY rascism is a sin. Yes, God does condemn homosexuality. But rascism is aslo clearly a sin. If rascism is not as bad as homosexuality, then why would you have a problem with it? After all, rascism was part of the reason YOU LEFT Christianity. Plus, if people want to engage in a homosexual lifestyle even after you tell them it is sinful, then you can't force them not to be gay. when Jesus spreaded the gospel, He did not force people to follow Him. He said, "Whosoever will, let him come." And when it all comes down to it, God condemns homosexuals, not us. So all Muslims don't believe that they get to heaven by doing more good than bad? A Muslim is defined by what the Qu'ran teaches. And the Qu'ran teaches in order for you to enter the kingdom of God, you must do good works. So therefore, Muslims rely on their own "righteousness" in order to get to heaven. No well known registered Christian on this site supports homosexuality. Neither do we support the condemnation of homosexuals, we leave that up to God. Even Carol would agree with this. When someone posts in a Qu'ran/Bible forum, don't you expect me to respond? I also respond to comments made in the "homosexuality is a sin forum" but I realize that Aineo is the one on that forum who is best suited for that job. I never said I hate Muslims more than homosexuals. If you go against biblical teaching, whatever subject it is, I am opposed to it. I oppose homosexuality just as you do, but I do not condemn homosexuals because I am a sinner just as they are. Not in the same way, but sin is sin and we've all sinned. God will handle condemnation.
You are obviously a man who has not read all of the posts I made on this forum. I always opposed Crystal and her Wiccan religion. me and her got into a few heated arguments, more heated than you and me. I also got into more heated arguments with homosexausl that I did with you. Read the posts before you make the judgements. Obviously most of the posts you read are going to be the ones which I respond to you, therefore you are not taking the initiative to look at the other posts I made to other people. Do not judge me on only opposing Islam. |
