Middle and Far Eastern countries today have legislation that makes converting to any religion not mandated by law a punishable crime. Freedom of religion is part of the American Constitution so the way we as Christians practice this is by preaching the gospel. If the U.S. Congress attempted to ammend our Constitution to make Christianity the only legal religion I would oppose it. You cannot mandate faith or religious belief as this is a matter of personal choice. 33% of the earths population is Muslim, 33% is Christian and to compare this one commandment to homosexuality, which comprises less than 3% of the adult population is ludicrous. But, why did you not quote:
