Linda,
I don't believe I've ever "complained" that Christians are "against homosexuality." I don't care what your religious beliefs are, so long as you don't try to impose them on me. I do object to the present state of legal inequality between heterosexual and homosexual relationships. And yes, I've noticed that the people who approve of that inequality tend to be Christian. This does not necessarily mean that Christians are more likely to disapprove of homosexuality -- or perhaps to just disregard the fact that they shouldn't be regulating other people's lives on the basis of their religious beliefs. It simply means that there are more of you, at least in the U.S.
There are more of you, and this is a democracy. You, personally, declared that you'd be voting for George W. Bush, after his comments on prohibiting gay marriage... in part because of his comments, I would infer. So: There are more of you, and you vote. As a group, you can affect me far more than all the members of all the other religions in this country, put together. Who do you think I'm going to argue with?
Speaking of which... did you notice my question to you on the gay marriage board?
