Mr Banks,
This is not a trick question, I am truly interested. In your mail you said
I'm a Muslim who believe in Koran and all that is fair and right.
Unlike most Muslims, I DON'T believe in holding up Hadith and "Sunnah" as equals to the Koran and don't believe they're necessary in practicing Islam...ONLY KORAN.
I believe in freedom and I believe in democracy and an abundance of knowledge.
I don't let sheiks, Mullahs, or Imans tell me what's right or wrong in my religion NOR do I let popular opinion decide...I read my Book and make my decisions based on IT.
May I ask you, on the basis of that, what does Islam mean for you? In a post in another forum, I mentioned what being a Christian meant for me. I'm really interested in knowing why you are a Muslim since you also converted.
Thanks for your time in anticipation Mr Banks
