1 Tim. 3:16 - John 1: Who is the God Flesh?

Postby Mister Emu » Sat Jan 20, 2007 10:20 am

Taken from John 1
Kai Logos en Theos
And the Word was God

Kai Logos ginomai sarx
And the Word was made Flesh

1 Timothy 3:16
Theos phaneroo en sarx
God was manifest in the flesh

Who was this Godman? Did the Father become flesh and dwell among John? Why was He never spoken of in the entirety of the NT?

Actually yes, God's power did dwell within John, just as God's power dwells within all true believers. Review John 17, and what Scripture teaches concerning the Holy Spirit.
