Muslim & Christian Discussion ForumIsrael & Lebanon at War?God put the Jewish people in exile because of their sins and forbade them from having their own state or to try to leave exile prematurely. The Talmud clearly states that God foreswore the Jews with three oaths; "so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him." Hebrews 9:28 "For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect." Hebrews 10:1 How could Ezekiel's temple and the things connected to it (including animal scarifice), fit within the frame of the New Covenant which has no such sacrifices? Keep in mind Hebrews 9:28 and Hebrews 10:1. What, when and where is the temple which is mentioned in Ezekiel 40 to 48? Was it something the Jews returning from Babylon should have built? Because one thing is clear to us, there is no sacrifice to be done. Jesus performed the Sacrifice which put an end to the Old Covenant which the Jews were/are under, and an end to its sacrifices. I wonder if you can clear this up since you have studied Ezekiel 40-48, right? |
