Apologetics Forum: Ask questions about Christianity/Debate doctrinesWhy does god not answer my prayers?I give a dollar here and there. But I like how you decided to ignore my question. You see Aineo, if God is all knowing and all powerful and still decides to let children starve (since he has planned everything) then I will not pray to him. The fact that I have not read the entire Bible is irrelevant. The message from the bible is the same (i.e. god is an all loving god) and because he completely contradicts this message by showing it through his action (or lack thereof) I decided not to believe in it. You are not starving and will never know what it's like so it is very convenient for you not to think about these things. It makes you uncomfortable to realize that god does indeed allow starvation to occur and in many cases resulting in death. It is time to realize that god is not as loving as you imagine. If you were starving to death, you would surely realize that. |
