Apologetics Forum: Ask questions about Christianity/Debate doctrinesHell, what is itI believe you missed the premise of my post, Islam aside for a moment. I agree with the judicial system that justice is to be served for a crime which is committed, let the punishment fit the crime. My question is, would you allow such punishment for a crime to be everlasting? I understand that God must punish sin, just as human judges must punish those who violate the laws, however there is no such thing as an eternal sentence. It is ONLY GOD who punishes men eternally, and without reprieve. Does this mean that our judicial system shows more mercy than God? |
