I would submit to you that it cannot be a metaphor for salvation. If being grafted into the natural vine is representative of being saved, then there is a contradiction: Romans 11 says you san be saved again ("for God is able to graft them in again") while Hebrews 6 says it is impossible to be saved again (" it is impossible to renew them again to repentance"). |
