Religious Cults & False Prophets~ Discussions and DebatesChristians ...LOST !I personally believe that the Bible, (the whole Bible, is the word of God), and as such, God does not have one set of rules for one group of people that does not effect any other group of people. To further answer the above.... Eccle. 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this [is] the whole [duty] of man. 12:14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether [it be] good, or whether [it be] evil. I looked up the word, 'man' in the Hebrew language (using a Strong's concordance), and found the word, 'man' to mean mankind. Therefore the Bible verse is to mean that the, 'whole duty of [mankind]....is to keep the commandments of God'. And, mankind involves far more, than just the Jews. Does that make sense ? No, the 10 commandments are the only ones Christ wrote out personally Himself on Mt Sinai, of which the Bible tells us, that after the 10....He wrote, 'no more', (Duet. 5:22). Isaiah 66:15-17 tells me that the Laws regarding diet are still with us today....as Christ promised that those who eat pork products and the other abominations, will be destroyed, when Jesus returns the 2nd time. |
