John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The Word was God.
John 1:14 - And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
And the Word, who was God was made flesh and dwelt among us. Now if we say there are three persons in one God, all three of them were made flesh or only one of three gods. There is no way around this one, either the father, son, and holy spirit was made flesh or the son is one of three gods. Sorry that does not hold weight and is not truth.
The Father manifested himself as the Son. For there is one God, who manifested himself in the flesh, and has sent His spirit to dwell in us who are willing to repent.
This is an excellent example of the endless number of riddles within a riddle. The Oneness Doctrine solves the riddles concerning the Godhead as shown in the above example. This revelation of Truth comes only by the Spirit to those with a sincere heart in seeking after truth.
